ESHO The network of organizations – including suppliers, distributors, customers, competitors, government agencies and so on – involved in the delivery of a specific product or service through both competition and cooperation. The idea is that each business in the “ecosystem” affects and is affected by the others, creating a constantly evolving relationship in which each business must be flexible and adaptable in order to survive, as in a biological ecosystem.

The ESHO Commodity Exchange (ECX) project is a new initiative for ESHO and the first of its kind in Bangladesh. The vision of ECX is to revolutionize ESHO’s tradition bound agriculture through creating a new marketplace that serves all market actors, from farmers to traders to processors to exporters to consumers. The ECX is a unique partnership of market actors, the Members of the Exchange, and its main promoter, the Government of ESHO. ECX represents the future of ESHO, bringing integrity, security, and efficiency to the market. ECX creates opportunities for unparalleled growth in the commodity sector and linked industries, such as transport and logistics, banking and financial services, and others.

ECX assures all commodity market players the security they need in the market through providing a secure and reliable End-to-End system for handling, grading, and storing commodities, matching offers and bids for commodity transactions, and a risk-free payment and goods delivery system to settle transactions, while serving all fairly and efficiently.

ECX creates trust and transparency through aggressive market data dissemination to all market actors, through clearly defined rules of trading, warehousing, payments and delivery and business conduct, and through an internal dispute settlement mechanism. ECX provides market integrity at three important levels: the integrity of the product itself, the integrity of the transaction, and the integrity of the market actors.

বর্জ্যকে সম্পদে পরিণত করার Slogan নিয়ে বর্তমান সরকার দেশে কার্যকর ”কঠিন বর্জ্য ব্যবস্থাপনা সিস্টেম” তৈরী করতে অঙ্গীকারাবদ্ধ। এ লক্ষ্যে,বর্জ্যকে রিসাইক্লিং এর মাধ্যমে সম্পদে পরিণত করার লক্ষ্যে ২০৩০ এর মধ্যে বর্জ্য থেকে নবায়নযোগ্য শক্তি, সম্পদ ও অর্থিক উন্নয়ন প্রকল্পটি ডিজাইন করা হয়েছে । এক্ষেত্রে ‘বাংলাদেশ পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ আইন ১৯৯৫’ অনুযায়ী ২০১০ এর নতুন নীতিমালা বর্জ্য রিসাইক্লিং করতে বিশেষভাবে সহায়তা করবে এবং দীর্ঘ মেয়াদে দেশের অর্থনীতিতে ব্যাপক অবদান রাখবে । আন্তর্জাতিক মানের পরিবেশ বান্দব টেকসই পরিবর্তনশীল জলবায়ু সহনশীল নগর ও গ্রাম উন্নয়ন পরিকল্পনার আলোকে প্রকল্পটি ডিজাইন করা হয়েছে ।
